Job Analysis/ Work Station Assessment

The Job Analysis is a multipurpose tool with proactive uses for HR Managers as well as post-injury uses for medical providers and return to work programs.

Our trained therapist observes the workstation in progress. We measure, photograph and evaluate employees performing job duties to gain a concise understanding of interactions between the worker’s body and the environment. Weights, forces and repetitions are recorded and presented in written format as a “functional job description” which incorporates analysis of the essential and marginal job functions.

Why order a Job Analysis?

  • Provides a clear and objective description of physical requirements to perform job functions for both new hires and return to work
  • Supports Physician and therapists in making accurate and reliable decisions regarding the best return to work plan for the injured worker
  • Useful for designing/modifying a transitional work programs.
